Halliwell Crystal Adelaide Cut Crystal Drop Wall Light

Three tiers of hand cut drops hung from a polished brass frame. The cuts are deep enough to split the light properly, so the fitting throws small spectra onto the wall either side of it.

Every crystal is cut and polished on a wheel by hand in the Midlands, then hung on brass pins rather than wire so nothing rattles. The frames are cast brass, not plated steel, which is why the fitting has weight in the hand and why the finish will still be there in twenty years. Sold singly.

Fitting

This is a hardwired fitting and should be installed by a qualified electrician working to BS 7671. It arrives with a standard round backplate and fixing screws. Wall plugs are not supplied because the right fixing depends on whether you are going into brick, block, plasterboard or lath and plaster. At roughly 5.1 kilograms it needs a proper fixing. Use the supplied screws into masonry, or a heavy duty plasterboard anchor rated well above the weight of the light.
