Halliwell Crystal Clarence Crystal and Brass Twin Arm Wall Light Pair

Two arms rising from a brass backplate, each carrying a cut crystal bobeche and a candle tube. Substantial without being heavy handed, which is a hard balance in crystal.

Every crystal is cut and polished on a wheel by hand in the Midlands, then hung on brass pins rather than wire so nothing rattles. The frames are cast brass, not plated steel, which is why the fitting has weight in the hand and why the finish will still be there in twenty years. Sold as a pair, crystals matched by hand across both fittings.

Fitting

This is a hardwired fitting and should be installed by a qualified electrician working to BS 7671. It arrives with a standard round backplate and fixing screws. Wall plugs are not supplied because the right fixing depends on whether you are going into brick, block, plasterboard or lath and plaster. It is a heavy fitting at roughly 12.6 kilograms, so fix into masonry or into a timber noggin behind plasterboard rather than into the board alone.
